Chikitsa Workshop: Strength & Stability
Chikitsa means 'therapy' in sanskrit. This class will focus on the functional movement within the 3 planes of the body used in asana in order to help develop neuromuscular intelligence, allowing your physical practice to become more physically salubrious. A typical session will include work with a foam roller, development of core stability, supported gluteal work, cultivation of spine & shoulder strength, and closing with fascial release through stretching and relaxation. Additional tools/props use include therapy bands (provided if you don't have your own).
