Learn how to shift into the internal body

with Pilates,

so you can shift into the internal mind

with Yoga

Let me guess, you’re currently…

  • Wanting to try something new, but you’re worried you’ll get hurt when practicing at home
  • Wanting better understanding of movement in your own body and how muscles work
  • Wanting more out of your workout than just a good sweat

But you’d love to...

  • Feel strong and confident when you move
  • Know proper form and feel balanced
  • Feel a deeper connection between the mind and body

Look, I get it...

Before I started practicing Pilates, I used to avoid Yoga classes because I wasn’t flexible.  I had no idea what the poses were, or what I was supposed to be doing.  I always felt out of place, and I’d inevitably walk away feeling like I needed a nap and extremely inadequate!

After years of Pilates practice, I felt much more confident in my body awareness and loved every second of each class, no matter how challenging.  That kind of mind body connection is incredible.  However, something was missing.  I found myself drawn to the deeper connection that Yoga has to offer.

Then I met Sara.  I started taking her classes in 2019 and loved that she took the time to tell me how to move and how to take the practice inward.  Classes had purpose and gave me the chance to focus on what was “within” that I couldn’t access in a Pilates session.  Pilates gave me the body of work that I needed in order to take my Yoga practice deeper.

I studied Yoga with Sara in 2020 because I loved that practicing Yoga and Pilates gave me a sense of true balance.  I wanted to share that with my clients, and I wanted to know as much as possible about how the two modalities could work together.

Yoga is now a part of my self care routine, and I’ve never felt better.  I’m the strongest (body AND mind) and most flexible I’ve ever been in my life.  My Pilates practice is the best it’s been in the 10+ years I’ve been doing it.  I feel like I get the best of both worlds, physically and mentally.

My private clients are now reaping those same benefits, and I’m loving their progress!  We’re combining Pilates and Yoga to make them feel the best they’ve ever felt, and it’s amazing to see!

"Bigtime, Sara. It's the hip and core work that's done just that. Plus it helps my alignment sooo much. I'm blown away how much it helps me. [...] I'll also say I've had major anterior pelvis and hip flexor issues from just sitting down all the time. Pilates has been a huge!! I'm saying huge! I'll say again HUGE help! :)" - Chad S.

“I have been doing Pilates with Kari in person for years and now virtually as well as virtual yoga. She continues to amaze me, knowing when and how to push or when to adjust accordingly. Doing pilates with her has enhanced my daily living in so many ways. It gives me relief after long hours working and driving, it provides deep strength training and stretching to supplement my bike rides and hikes, and it provides the best mental challenge while still being relaxing. Don’t hesitate to try, you won’t regret it!”
